This series of images was shot during my art residency at the School of Visual Arts, in June 2022.
I spent two weeks walking and observing - every day from 10 am to 6 pm - the people of this privileged neighborhood where I used to spend my summer holidays as a teen ager.
Taking pictures of the familiar, cutting it out, pasting it on card boards… and finally hanging the result on the walls, half anthropologist, half entomologist.
No jugement, no words.

The exhibition showed 112 photographs, cut out and collaged on the walls, as well as a map showing some data (demographics, life expectancy, income…), six still lives and a short film entitled Madison, also shot during the same period.
